My client based in Surrey is urgently seeking a qualified Management Accountant (ACA/CIMA); he/she will assist the management team by providing financial analysis and ensuring that finance activities are completed accurately monthly, quarterly and yearly. Ensure all compliance with accounting control procedures and relevant regulatory bodies are adhered to.
Must have:
  • Completed Management Accountant ACCA/CIMA degree.
  • Sound knowledge of processes in Finance and be accustomed to present monthly and quarterly figures and Sales to management.
  • Computer Literate – MS Office, Sage 200 and ERP system 
  • Good communication skills
  • Travel – Birmingham to meet the finance team when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Min 5 years of Management Accounting work experience. Mid-level to Senior.
  • Conduct month-end activities including sales and margin review, financial analysis (sales, margin, EBITDA), COGS analysis, and comparison of actuals versus budget.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, manage stock cycle counts, and handle group recharges.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and assist with annual audits.
  • Supervise the purchase ledger and contribute to ongoing process improvement reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company health and safety regulations, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain key interdepartmental relationships and undertake additional tasks as directed by the line manager to ensure smooth department operations.
  • Continuously develop and maintain relevant skills to support the department’s growth and performance.
  • Demonstrate ethical behaviour and uphold company values
